Several allegations have surfaced against YSRCP leaders regarding illegal activities during the party’s tenure in Andhra Pradesh. Investigations are already underway into alleged large-scale irregularities linked to liquor, sand, mining, and land dealings. In a fresh development, former YSRCP MLA from Vinukonda, Bolla Brahmanaidu, has reportedly landed in serious trouble in a major land-grabbing case connected to Hyderabad.
According to police sources, an attempt was made to illegally occupy a prime land parcel worth around ₹1,500 crore in Gandipet, one of the fastest-growing and high-value areas in Hyderabad. Authorities allege that fake government documents and forged GOs were created to claim ownership of the land.
The issue came to light after the Gandipet Tahsildar noticed irregularities during the registration process and immediately alerted the police. A detailed investigation later identified the involvement of several individuals, including Nimmala Rajesh Goud, Venugopal, Sai Kiran, along with former MLA Bolla Brahmanaidu and his brother Bolla Ramesh.
Police say the accused allegedly fabricated documents claiming that the government had allotted the land to them. Based on these forged records, they reportedly planned to register the property and later sell it illegally. Investigators also found that the group had negotiated deals valuing the land at around ₹3.5 crore per acre.
During the probe, officials reportedly discovered financial transactions worth nearly ₹4 crore linked to the case, including two separate transfers connected to accounts associated with Brahmanaidu.
A case has been registered at Narsingi Police Station, and Cyberabad police have formed special teams to trace the accused, who are currently absconding.
