Veteran actress and politician Khushbu Sundar and filmmaker Sundar C celebrated the wedding of their daughter, Avanthika Sundar, in an elegant yet intimate ceremony in Goa. While many expected a grand wedding in Chennai, the family chose to keep the event strictly private for a personal reason.

According to reports, Avanthika is uncomfortable in large crowds, prompting the family to limit the guest list. The wedding was attended only by close family members and friends, with around 20 guests from each side, keeping the total attendance well below 50.

Although the wedding itself was deliberately low-key, Khushbu is reportedly planning a lavish wedding reception in Chennai. As it marks the first major celebration in the family, the reception is expected to be a star-studded affair with prominent personalities from the film industry and politics in attendance.

Ahead of the celebrations, Khushbu and her family personally invited several high-profile guests, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, and leading personalities from South Indian cinema and politics. Khushbu had earlier requested fans to understand the family’s decision to keep the wedding private, assuring them that the grand reception would offer an opportunity to celebrate with a larger gathering.

The Goa wedding was attended by several notable celebrities, including Telugu stars Chiranjeevi and Surekha, Nagarjuna and Amala, and Venkatesh and Neeraja. Actress Trisha also drew attention after photographs of her at the ceremony surfaced online, including pictures of her seated alongside Chiranjeevi.

Meanwhile, fans are eagerly awaiting more photographs from the celebrations. Although Trisha’s pictures have already gone viral, images featuring Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, who was invited to the celebrations, are yet to be released.
