Fahadh Faasil continues to remain one of the most in-demand actors for villainous and special roles in Telugu cinema. While Vijay Sethupathi once dominated this space with back-to-back offers from Telugu filmmakers, industry attention has now largely shifted towards Fahadh Faasil.
However, the Malayalam actor is reportedly being extremely selective about the projects he chooses to sign. According to ongoing industry buzz, Fahadh has declined several high-profile Telugu offers in recent months despite the strong demand surrounding him.
Sources suggest that his experience working on Pushpa 2 has made him more cautious about selecting roles. The actor is now said to be prioritizing characters that genuinely excite him creatively rather than simply accepting projects based on scale or commercial value.
Apart from script quality, Fahadh Faasil is also believed to be particular about the significance of his role within the story, while reportedly unwilling to compromise on remuneration either.
The latest discussion in film circles revolves around Ram Pothineni’s upcoming project. Reports claim that the actor-filmmaker recently approached Fahadh Faasil for an important role in his newly announced psychological thriller. However, Fahadh is said to have politely declined the offer.
Though there is no official confirmation regarding the reason behind the rejection, industry insiders believe the role may not have aligned with the actor’s current preferences.
At present, Fahadh Faasil is reportedly busy with two Telugu projects backed by S. S. Karthikeya, son of acclaimed filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli. With his growing popularity across South Indian cinema, every project involving Fahadh continues to generate strong curiosity among audiences.
