Finally, YS Jagan pays tributes to former CM K Rosaiah

In a belated decision the AP legislative assembly paid tributes for former Chief Minister K Rosaiah. The AP Government failed to pay tributes to Rosaiah on March 9, when condolence resolutions were passed for leaders like Mekapati Goutham Reddy.

This led to severe criticism of the AP Government. This has also become viral on social media. Hence, in a belated move , the YSRCP government offered tributes to him.

Interestingly, Rosaiah and Jagan had an icy relationship. Jagan felt Rosaiah robbed him off his chance to become a CM in 2009.

Though Rosaiah was quite close to late YSR, Jagan always felt Rosaiah had stood in the way of his becoming the CM in 2009. Even after Rosaiah stepped down from the post of the CM, the relations did not improve.

Significantly, Jagan did not pay his respects to Rosaiah’s mortal remains after he passed away on December 4 last year. This became a huge controversy and Jagan was roundly criticised for his act.

The Arya Vysya organisations took objection to this act of YS Jagan. Hence Jagan belatedly offered condolences and paid his tribute on Thursday.

The house on Thursday paid respects to former MLAS Valluri Narayana Murthy, VVSS Chowdary, Kadapa Prabhakar Reddy, Mangamuri Sridhara Krishna Reddy, Garapati Sambasiva Rao, TN Anasuya , Patil Venugopal Reddy, Yallasiri Srinivasulu Reddy and Yadlapati Venkat Rao.
