Road mishaps are on the rise. At regular intervals, we are hearing about spine-chilling road accidents. The metro cities are reporting road accidents raising many fears. A shocking mishap was reported in Hyderabad recently which claimed three lives after a car that was traveling at high speed rammed into pedestrians.
Now a former cricketer who represented the Indian national team is said to have survived a horrific road mishap. It is also said that the former cricketer’s son was also present when this happened. Fortunately, the father-son duo survived the crash.
Going into details, the incident is said to have happened on Tuesday when Former Indian cricketer Praveen Kumar and his son were traveling in his luxury car. His car was reportedly hit by a truck. This happened in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut.
The media reports said that Praveen Kumar and his son escaped the mishap despite his car being damaged severely. Upon receiving the information, the local police went to the spot to investigate the matter. The truck driver was reportedly arrested in this regard and further details are awaited.
It has to be mentioned here that earlier Rishabh Pant met with a horrific accident and is undergoing treatment. Due to the injuries, he missed a few big tournaments and he will also not play the 2023 edition of the 50-over World Cup which is hosted by India.
Praveen Kumar had a good career during his stint and played three formats. He shot to super fame with his incredible bowling heroics in the tri-nation Commonwealth Bank Series. He is among the few bowlers who can swing the ball on both sides.
