‘Gaali Sampath’ streaming rights to be owned by two OTT platforms!

Gaali Sampath starring Rajendra Prasad and Srivishnu in key roles became available to the audience last Friday. Due to the greater success of other couple of films released in the same week, the film still didn’t garner the collections as expected and it is soon going to gain the momentum.

Due to the lack of crowd in the theaters, it was announced a week ago that the film would be released on OTT. Exactly after a week it came out to the audience once again through OTT. The information is received that the flick has been bought by couple of digital platforms anticipating higher viewership from movie buffs.

Leading Telugu cinema digital space giant Aha recently announced that it would own the streaming rights of Gaali Sampath. However, there had been an inadvertent clash as the global digital giant Amazon prime video bought the streaming rights too. We rarely see this pattern where a movie is streamed by two OTTs simultaneously.

Now Aaha and Amazon are also streaming the film from today. After a few days it will be removed from one of it and another continues to be permanent. Streaming through two OTTs is seemingly a strategy to reach more audiences.
