If the first weekend collections of “Gaddalakonda Ganesh”, a film that was formerly called “Valmiki”, is anything to go by, we have to say that it is en route to becoming a super hit at the box office.
In its first weekend, Varun Tej and Harish Shankar’s mass bonanza Gaddalakonda Ganesh collected a whopping 13.5+ crores ‘share’ from the box office. This is on par with Varun’s other super hit movies that collected a similar figure on their first weekend. His previous super hit F2 collected 13.35 crores share on the first weekend owing to Sankranthi holiday season and Fidaa made 13.9 crores share, while Tholiprema fetched 9 crores.
Without any holidays in hindsight, Varun Tej managed to pull off an interesting feat, which indicates that he has truly delivered something that excited the audiences. Also, the lack of any other big movie is helping this Valmiki to close on big numbers. There are 10 days for Sye Raa to arrive and till then Gaddalakonda Ganesh could continue his ploughing of box office
Even the Overseas collections of Gaddalakonda Ganesh are also very interesting as they have picked up on Saturday.
