Hombale Films, the production house behind pan-Indian blockbusters such as KGF, Salaar, and Kantara, continues to expand its ambitious slate with multiple star-driven projects. After recently announcing a film with Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan, the banner has now officially unveiled a big-budget project with Tamil star Suriya. The back-to-back announcements have sparked speculation on social media, with some questioning whether the Hrithik Roshan project has been put on hold.

A few weeks ago, Hombale Films welcomed Hrithik Roshan with a special announcement poster describing him as the “Greek God” who has redefined boundaries. Producer Vijay Kiragandur had stated that the film would be mounted on a massive scale, while Hrithik expressed his excitement about collaborating with a production house known for backing unique and ambitious stories.

However, the makers have not yet revealed the film’s director. Industry reports had earlier suggested that actor-filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran could helm the project. There was also speculation that Hrithik might temporarily delay work on Krrish 4 to accommodate the Hombale production.

Following Hombale’s official announcement of its new film with Suriya, social media was flooded with rumors claiming that the Hrithik Roshan project had been shelved. The timing of the two developments led some fans to wonder whether the Bollywood project had run into trouble.

As of now, however, there has been no official statement from Hombale Films or Hrithik Roshan’s team suggesting that the film has been cancelled or delayed. The speculation remains entirely based on social media discussions, with no concrete evidence to support the claims.

Many industry observers also point out that Hombale Films has the resources and experience to develop multiple high-profile projects simultaneously. The production house is already working on several films across different languages, making it unlikely that the announcement of one project would automatically affect another.
