Governor Grants Big Relief To Chief Minister!

AAP leader and Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann was in the news recently due to his alleged drinking habit. Media reports are abuzz that he was not allowed to board the plane as he was fully drunk and as a result, he had to miss a crucial meeting. The opposition parties lashed out at him on his.

Amid the controversy, the Punjab Chief Minister had a big relief as the state Governor reportedly gave a nod for the special assembly session to prove his strength in the house. Though the Governor did not accept the proposal earlier, he understood Bhagwant Mann’s situation and said yes.

Reports say that Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit reportedly gave a green signal to hold the Assembly sessions and the Chief Minister was asked to go for the sessions on the 27th of this month.

Though the Governor accepted the proposal to go for the special Assembly sessions, we have to see if the Chief Minister will show his interest in the sessions or use the sessions to discuss some much-talked-about bills.

On the other hand, the ruling AAP is worried about the government and the Chief Minister wants to prove his strength in the house as there are reports which say the saffron party is reportedly in talks with the AAP MLAs for horse trading and they might take the BJP route if everything goes as per BJP’s plan.
