GVL Narasimha Rao’s interesting comments on AP government’s debt

It is already known that the Andhra Pradesh government is neck-deep in debts, with thousands of crores borrowed in the form of debts or loans, which, if the government doesn’t repay on time, the people of the state would have to bear the brunt. While there are several debts and loans that the government has taken, the most talked about topic in the last few days has been the Rs. 25,000 Crores that the government has taken as a loan.

While the opposition has shown proof that the AP government has given a guarantee to this loan amount, to the bank, the government continues to argue that this is false and that no guarantees have been given. According to the proofs show, it is understood that the AP government has promised to divert the revenue from liquor to the bank, for the next 25 years. There’s a lot of debate going on about this right now, with everyone asking why the government didn’t inform either the Center or the Assembly about this.

In the meantime, GVL Narasimha Rao, of BJP, has now commented on the current situation of the AP government’s. He continued to criticise the government, but at the same time gave suggestions to rectify the situation. He said that since the issue began with the matters related to the SDC (State Development Corporation) if changes were made in the matter, things would get better. After he gave all the suggestions in the matter, in the form of criticisms, Rao said that he would take the matter to the Union minister, if the station continued. With these statements, everyone started wondering why Rao had to say that way, and why he couldn’t just simply already talk to the Union Minister if he was serious. It is also widely being speculated that the BJP stepped in because this matter was getting out of hand, and not because it was serious.
