Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming socio-fantasy film Vishwambhara has once again become a hot topic in the industry regarding its release. Directed by Bimbisara fame Vassishta and produced by UV Creations, the big-budget project is now facing increasing speculation over its delayed release.

Initially, expectations were high for a Sankranti 2025 release, with January 10 being considered the planned date. However, reports suggested that the release was postponed due to the arrival of Ram Charan’s Game Changer during the same festive window. Later, a summer release was also rumored, but no official confirmation followed.

More recently, buzz circulated about a possible July 10 release, but the makers have still not issued any official announcement, leaving fans disappointed and confused.

According to sources, the primary reason for the delay is extensive VFX and post-production work. Since a large portion of the second half relies heavily on visual effects, the team is reportedly taking extra time to ensure high-quality output without compromises.

Chiranjeevi himself had earlier mentioned that the film aims to deliver a new visual experience to audiences, which requires top-level technical finishing in post-production.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi has already begun shooting for his next project with director Bobby Kolli, which is progressing at a fast pace. This has further fueled discussions about the uncertain status of Vishwambhara.

Some reports also suggest that OTT deals and digital rights agreements may be contributing to the delay, with producers allegedly finalizing release plans only after securing a strong digital deal. However, there is no official confirmation on this.

The prolonged silence from the makers has led to growing frustration among fans, who are demanding clarity on the release date and promotional plans. Many feel that the initial hype around the film has slowly faded due to repeated delays and lack of updates.
