Highly talented hero Adivi Sesh made a separate name for himself with unique action thrillers like ‘Kshanam’, ‘Goodachari’, ‘Yevaru’ and others. He is currently making ‘Major’ which is based on the life of Sandeep Unnikrishnan who sacrificed his life during the ’26/11′ attacks in Mumbai back in 2008. The first song ‘Hrudayama’ was released at 11:07 AM as promised and superstar Mahesh Babu unveiled the Telugu version while Dulquer Salman released the Tamil version.
Sung by the famous Sid Sriram, this is a passionate love song that portrays the romance between Adivi Sesh and Saiee Manjrekar in a perfect manner. They are showcased as lovers right from their schooling days and how it grows stronger along the way will be explained. Music composer Sricharan Pakala has come up with a cool and soothing tune. While Major is on duty at the border, his sweetheart has been waiting to meet him. They share their feelings through love letters. They even share their photographs with each other. The visuals show both memorizing their past and unforgettable time together. Words can’t describe when they finally meet at the costume party. The song has so much love and it shows the beautiful love story of Major Sundeep and Isha.
Major’ is being directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka who made ‘Goodachari’ earlier with Sesh. Abburi Ravi has penned the dialogues while Adivi Sesh himself provided the screenplay. Maratha beauty Saiee Manjrekar will be making her Telugu debut with ‘Major’. She will be seen as Sandeep’s love interest while Telugu girl Sobitha Dhulipala is playing a key role in this film. This pan-Indian project is produced jointly by Sony Pictures India, A+S Movies and GMB Entertainments jointly.
The movie has been mounted on a large scale and the teaser which came out a few months back raised a lot of expectations. It is visually stunning as well as highly emotional. Veterans like Prakash Raj, Murali Sharma, Revathi and others are also a part of this film. ‘Major’ is a pan-Indian film that is going to be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. The release date is yet to be announced.
