CPI national secretary K. Narayana has almost made it a habit of staying in the middle of the headlines due to various reasons. Not just his political statements, but his comments on various issues like Telugu Bigg Boss made him grab everyoneâ€™s attention and stay in the news.
Now the communist leader is in the news with his chaotic experience in Florida Airport during his Cuba trip. The immigration officers are believed to have stopped him for a few hours and let him go only after intense questioning. After satisfied with the answers he gave, the immigration officers let him go.
Media reports say that CPI Narayana took pictures with Cuba President Miguel Mario DÃaz-Canel BermÃºdez and the pictures are on his phone. When the immigration officers found the pictures they asked him about them. After finishing the questioning process the immigration staff let him go.
It is known that Cuba hosted the 22nd International Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties recently. CPI attended the meeting along with a few others and after the meeting, he reportedly went to Florida to meet his grandson.
But the tour did not go as planned as he was reportedly stopped at the Florida airport by the immigration staff. Narayana was stopped there for a few hours and he was let go after grilling him. Narayana reportedly shared his dissatisfaction with the treatment he received.
Talking about the current state of communist parties in Telangana, the red parties are focused on the upcoming Munugode by-polls which are slated to be commended a day after tomorrow. All the major parties are hopeful of winning the polls.
To take on the common enemy-the Bharatiya Janata Party, the communist parties supported the ruling TRS in Telangana. Communist parties are against the ruling parties in any region and TRS is not an exemption. But the CPI and CPM decided to lend a helping hand to the TRS.
The communist parties have a stronghold in the region and the strength might help the TRS to have a better chance of winning the bypolls. In a few days, all the doubts will be cleared.
