Actor-turned-politician, Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna attended the new year celebrations held at the famous Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute in Hyderabad. The Nandamuri scion graced the celebrations and took part in the cake cutting ceremony.
After the cake-cutting ceremony, Nandamuri Balakrishna addressed the gathering at the celebrations and said that in the new year everyone should be more cautious as the Omicron variant is spreading at a rapid phase in the country.
Balakrishna also expressed his confidence in getting relief from the Covid pandemic this year. While wishing everyone on the occasion of the new year, Balakrishna said that we will beat the virus but for that everyone should take an active part in following the protocol and guidelines.
On the occasion, Balakrishna showered praises on the doctors at the Cancer hospital whose hard work gave confidence to the public that they will get cured of the disease after reaching the hospital facility. The doctors have given their best in treating the patients and I urge them to continue the same, he said.
