Indian Idol 12 controversy: Udit Narayan calls his son Aditya Narayan ‘childish’!

After Anuradha Paudwal, legendary singer Udit Narayan has reacted sharply to singer Amit Kumar’s remarks on contestants of Indian Idol 12 during his guest visit on the show. Post the episode completion, the singer said the he was insisted to praise the participants by the makers regardless of his opinion.

After Amit Kumar’s disputable statements on ‘Indian Idol 12’ contestants and the show overall, several singers were questioned about their opinions. During a recent interaction, host Aditya Narayan defended the show and said Amit should have given honest feedback and also took a dig at him in the latest episode. Aditya was also trolled by the viewers for the same.

Now when his father Udit was asked to address about the whole controversy, he opined that criticising new talent is wrong and even went on to say that his son is ‘childish and emotional as he has been on the show and would have been quite attached to it.

He further stated, “We are often invited so we can watch new talent and also teach them, we are also paid for this. This process of learning and teaching continues throughout life. Often, we are not too strict with talent, fearing they may be overwhelmed with negativity.”
