Director Anil Ravipudi is continuing his successful association with the Sankranti festive season, carefully planning one release every year during the lucrative holiday window. After delivering consecutive successes, the filmmaker has established himself as one of the most dependable directors when it comes to festival releases.

Following Sankranthiki Vastunnam (2025) and Mana Shankara Varaprasad (2026), Anil has already lined up another Sankranti entertainer with Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram for the 2027 festive season. Now, industry buzz suggests that he is already planning his 2028 Sankranti release.

According to reports, Nandamuri Balakrishna is likely to reunite with Anil Ravipudi after the success of Bhagavanth Kesari. The senior star is currently busy with #NBK111, directed by Gopichand Malineni, followed by another action-packed project with Koratala Siva. Since both films belong to the action genre, Balakrishna is said to be keen on doing a light-hearted commercial entertainer next, making Anil Ravipudi a natural choice.

If everything goes as planned, both Balakrishna and Anil Ravipudi are expected to complete their existing commitments by mid-2027 and begin work on the new film soon after, with a target release during Sankranti 2028.

At a time when many young filmmakers are finding it difficult to lock leading stars and release dates, Anil Ravipudi appears to be planning well in advance.
