Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP had a good year in 2020 with Love Story. The Sekhar Kammula got critically acclaimed and became one of the big hits last year. Taking forward the energy and positivity, the Hyderabad-based production house had started the new year on an auspicious note.
Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, a unit of Asian Group announced their next project just a while ago. The production house has brought Kollywood star Sivakarthikeyan, popularly known as Prince and Jathi Ratnalu fame Anudeep Kv together.
The project tentatively titled #SK20 promises FunFilled Entertainer. The Telugu-Tamil bilingual will be based in India and England. The short teaser takes us through the world of the new film.
The teaser starts with a pigeon flying through England and Puducherry hinting that the story is going to be based in the two places. The upcoming film will be jointly produced by Suresh Productions, Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, and Shanthi Talkies.
Thaman SS was roped in as the music director. More details on the female lead and the rest of the cast and crew are awaited.
Narayan Das K Narang, Daggubati Suresh Babu, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao will jointly bankroll the project, while the yet-to-be-titled project will have Arun Viswa as the co-producer.
Sivakarthikeyan is one of the supremely talented stars down south. He started his career by acting alongside big stars in small roles. Gradually, he established himself as a big star, who enjoys a good fan following.
One of the bankable and loveable stars in the country, Sivakarthikeyan had stolen many hearts by gracing the pre-release event of the much-awaited multi-starrer RRR. When the makers planned an event in Chennai, Sivakarthikeyan showed up at the event.
On the work front, Sivakarthikeyan’s last outing was Doctor, which turned out to be a money-spinner at the box office. As a career-best hit, Doctor grossed Rs 100 crore. He is awaiting the release of his next films ‘Don’ and ‘Ayalaan’.
Sivakarthikeyan’s talent doesn’t restrict to just acting. He is a writer too and has written songs in two films which also includes his recent outing Doctor. The songs became quite a hit.
