Acclaimed filmmaker Sudha Kongara has moved the Madras High Court over an alleged payment dispute involving her upcoming film Parasakthi, adding an unexpected legal twist to one of Tamil cinema’s most anticipated projects.

According to reports, Sudha Kongara has claimed that a remuneration amount of ₹8.39 crore remains unpaid and has sought legal intervention to recover the dues. The case has now entered the judicial process, drawing significant attention across the Tamil film industry.
