Naga Chaitanya has taken a bold new step in his career by stepping into production. He will now co-produce the second season of his successful series Dhootha, marking a significant expansion of his creative role beyond acting.

Explaining the decision, Chaitanya said that getting deeply involved in a project he truly enjoys naturally pushed him to explore more responsibilities. He added that working closely with director Vikram K. Kumar and producer Sharrath Marar made the transition feel smooth and organic, as all three share a strong creative understanding.

He further shared that during the making of Season 1, Vikram K. Kumar had discussed several interesting ideas with him, which later evolved into collaborative development for the next season. This creative exchange ultimately led to his entry into production for Dhootha Season 2.

Speaking about the growing space for digital platforms, Chaitanya noted that OTT and cinema can comfortably coexist. He emphasized that audiences today clearly know what they want to watch and where they want to watch it, making it essential for makers to position their content thoughtfully.

With this move, Naga Chaitanya signals a new phase in his career, blending performance with creative production involvement.
