The split within the Kalvakuntla family has taken a new turn, with Kavitha launching her own political outfit, Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS). She is currently focused on building her independent political journey in Telangana and appears confident about her future prospects.
In a recent interview with a national media channel, Kavitha made a striking comment that has now become a topic of intense discussion. When asked about the possibility of returning to the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) if her father K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) were to invite her back, she gave a firm and emotional response.
Kavitha stated that she feels she has been “humiliated enough for a lifetime” and expressed no willingness to return to the party that, according to her, had sidelined and removed her without dignity. She further added that if KCR were to reconsider, she would rather invite him to join her new platform, Telangana Rakshana Sena, instead of returning to BRS.
Her remarks have sparked strong reactions across political circles, as they highlight the depth of the rift within the family and the party. While the statement may sound unconventional in political terms, it also reflects the emotional strain and personal experiences behind her decision to part ways with BRS.
Kavitha’s comments underline the complexity of her exit from the party and suggest that the separation was not just political, but deeply personal as well. The situation continues to draw attention as Telangana politics witnesses yet another dramatic development.
