However, clarity has now emerged. Writer Ratnakumar has indirectly but firmly indicated that AA23 is very much on track. While he did not directly address the rumours, his comments celebrating the fourth anniversary of Vikram included an excited mention that he is looking forward to AA23, strongly suggesting that the project remains active.

He also appreciated Lokesh Kanagaraj’s work and expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming film, further reinforcing confidence in the collaboration.

Meanwhile, it has been clarified that the separate project currently being discussed as “shelved” is not AA23, and there is no official confirmation linking it to Allu Arjun’s film.
