Due to many reasons, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and Bharatiya Janata Party which are ruling in Telangana and at the center became political rivals and enemies and both parties are not leaving any stone unturned to target each other on various issues. The fight and war of words have been going on for a few months.
As the Telangana wing of the saffron party is going aggressively against the TRS, IT Minister KTR started his attack on the BJP. KTR is slamming the BJP over its double-engine government module. BJP used the same in many election campaigns in the recent polls and emerged victoriously.
Taking a swipe at the BJP’s hit formula of double-engine government, KTR drew a comparison between Telangana and BJP-ruled states over the development. This had created a storm on social media with the BJP supporters starting a Twitter war with KTR.
The Twitter war had reached a point where KTR made it clear that he will not compromise on exposing the bigotry and false information. Having said that, the TRS Working President even appealed to people who have a problem unfollow him immediately.
“To all those people who cringe & crib each time I post some facts about NDA Govt & PM Please unfollow me immediately as I will continue to highlight & expose their bigotry & false propaganda; come what may,” KTR tweeted.
It appears like KTR was not happy with the constant attack from the BJP supporters on social media. However, KTR chose to stay focused on his mission to expose the Union Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi no matter what.
Looking at the fight between TRS and BJP. It has a big history. We can say that the fight had started with the GHMC polls. Given the boost the BJP got, the party started focusing on Telangana and won Lok Sabha seats and two MLA seats.
But the fight between the two parties turned intense with the paddy procurement issue. Whie the BJP made it clear that it cannot procure more, the Telangana government is demanding that the Centre should buy the paddy like it is doing in Punjab. The issue has been going on since then.
