After creating a strong buzz with its captivating teaser, filmmaker M.S. Raju’s ambitious mystic divine thriller Agadha has officially locked its theatrical release date. Produced by Kasi Visalakshi Balusu under the Sri Adi Varaha Productions banner and presented by Ajay KR, the film is set for a grand worldwide release on August 14, 2026.

The teaser has received an overwhelming response since its launch, garnering over 14 million digital views and generating significant curiosity among movie lovers. Its striking visuals, mystical atmosphere, haunting background score, and suspense-filled narrative have positioned Agadha as one of the most anticipated Telugu releases of the year.

Mounted on a lavish scale, the film promises to blend mythology, mystery, and suspense into a visually rich cinematic experience. The makers are confident that its unique concept, backed by strong technical execution, will appeal to audiences across all age groups.

Speaking about the project, director M.S. Raju described Agadha as the most ambitious film of his career. He said the teaser offers only a small glimpse into the film’s expansive world, adding that the story unfolds through unexpected twists, emotional moments, and immersive storytelling designed for the big screen. He also praised the commitment and performances of the entire cast.

Lead actress Kamakshi Bhaskarla, who plays the role of Mahadevi, said the character has been one of the most rewarding experiences of her career. Actor Shravan Reddy, reuniting with M.S. Raju after Dirty Hari, expressed confidence that the film’s unpredictable screenplay and gripping narrative will keep audiences engaged throughout.

The ensemble cast also includes Ulka Gupta, Jovika Vijay Kumar, and Sijju in pivotal roles.
