Lokesh wants schools in AP to be closed

With the AP government firm on running the schools, there is appreciation from the parents and school managements across the state. The State government’s firm decision to go ahead with the running of the schools is quite contrary to the TRS government’s decision to declare holidays. However, the TDP seems determined to oppose this decision.

In neighbouring Karnataka too, the schools are running despite the rising cases of Covid. They even held some examinations. But in AP, Nara Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan are strongly opposing the running of schools. During the first wave too, they put forth similar demands. They said that the students should be passed without any examination. In fact, Lokesh had then succeeded in forcing the government to pass every student without writing examinations.

Now, Lokesh is again demanding that the schools be closed due to spike in the vase. Sources say that experts are suggesting that the schools should be kept open to develop herd immunity. The experts also suggest that one should learn to live with Covid. Expert suggest that running of schools is the better way to fight the Covid.
