As one of the youngest ministers in the country, Nara Lokesh has been making a conscious effort to connect with the younger generation and stay in sync with Gen Z culture. As part of this outreach, he recently participated in a fun, rapid-fire interaction with a couple of teenage interviewers who quizzed him using Gen Z-style questions.
One of the most interesting questions put to Lokesh was whether he would choose to watch a film starring Jr NTR or one featuring Pawan Kalyan if both released on the same day. Instead of picking sides, Lokesh diplomatically replied that he would watch both films on the very same day, drawing smiles for his balanced answer.
The conversation then shifted to politics. Asked whether he would prefer to see his father, N. Chandrababu Naidu, become the Prime Minister of India or the President of the country, Lokesh offered a thoughtful response. He said he preferred neither, adding that he wants Chandrababu to remain in Amaravati and continue focusing on the development of Andhra Pradesh.
On the lighter side, when asked to choose between the traditional Andhra dish Ragi Sangati and Hyderabad Biryani, Lokesh didn’t hesitate before picking Ragi Sangati, reflecting his fondness for the state’s rustic cuisine.
The rapid-fire session concluded with a question on the 2029 Assembly elections. Sounding confident, Lokesh predicted that the NDA would register another emphatic victory, stating that he has no doubts about the alliance returning to power in the next electoral battle.
