After scoring a hit with an entertainer like ‘Prathi Roju Pandage’, ‘Supreme’ hero Sai Tej is all set to enthrall the audience with a political thriller titled ‘Republic’. Deva Katta who made films like ‘Vennela’, ‘Prasathanam’ and ‘Autonagar Surya’ in the past is directing this interesting project.The posters and title announcement video got a good response from the audience. Now the team has come up with the first song from the album composed by Mani Sharma.
The song is named ‘Gaana Of Republic’ which is picturized in a simple way. Sai Tej and his friends are seen dancing in the ground. Sung collectively by Anurag Kulkarni, Dhanunjay Hymath Mohammed, Aditya Iyengar and Prudhvi Chandra, it is quite a foot-tapping song with addictive music. Rahman penned lyrics which are quite meaningful. It discusses topics like freedom, oppression, capitalism and others in a light-hearted manner. Mani Sharma came up with a groovy tune with a local touch.
Raju Sundaram choreographed this song and this political thriller is expected to hit the screens in the next couple of months. Produced by Zee Studios and JB Entertainments, ‘Republic’ is directed by Deva Katta and Sukumar is the director of photography. Praveen KL is the editor and Aishwarya Rajesh is the female lead in this political drama. Veteran actors Ramya Krishnan and Jagapathi Babu are playing important roles in this movie which is arriving with a lot of expectations.
