Considering his popularity and fans frenzy, popular brands in South are signing Superstar Mahesh Babu as their brand ambassador. He is already endorsing handful brands and online bus ticket booking platform Abhibus.com is one amongst them.
In the first promos of Abhibus.com, Krishnudu was seen alongside Mahesh Babu. However, they have now replaced Krishnudu with Vennela Kishore for new promos. De facto, Krishnudu is out of action for long and continuing him is definitely not a good idea. Moreover, presence of Vennela Kishore who shared screen space with Mahesh in few films will understandably be an additional benefit. So, more fun is in the offing in the new promos.
Currently, the ad shoot is happening in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Mahesh Babu and Vennela Kishore will feature in both online and offline campaigns being launched by the firm. The brand new commercial ads will be released soon.On the film front, Mahesh Babu is presently shooting for his 25th film under the direction of Vamsi Paidipally. Pooja Hegde is leading lady in the film slated for Sankranthi release.

Sunitha Talks About Feminism, Freedom and Women’s Respect in Cinema
June 24, 2026

Tollywood singer Sunitha recently sat down for a candid conversation with Manatelugu, where she spoke about music, women in cinema, freedom, feminism, and the challenges faced by female artists in the industry.
One of the key highlights of the interview was her perspective on dressing freedom. Sunitha said that discussions around women’s clothing are often misunderstood, adding that true freedom is not about making statements through attire, but about feeling safe, respected, and free from judgment.
She noted that modern debates often reduce feminism to slogans and social media arguments. While individuals are free to make personal choices, she emphasized that the real concern is whether society provides an environment that respects those choices.
Sunitha also addressed the issue of objectification in cinema, stating that responsibility is shared by multiple stakeholders, including directors, writers, actors, and society at large, all of whom influence how women are portrayed on screen.
Speaking about feminism, she expressed that it is not about asserting dominance or constantly fighting for rights over others, but about mutual respect, understanding, and acceptance between men and women. According to her, equality does not mean identical treatment in every situation, but fairness, dignity, and respect for individual choices without bias.
With over three decades of experience in the industry, Sunitha’s views reflect a grounded and balanced perspective, highlighting that genuine acceptance of a woman’s choices and opinions is one of the truest forms of feminism.
