Makers of Adipurush erect a special set that looks like a real forest

Young Rebel Star Prabhas became an overnight sensation with magnum opus Bahubali. Post Bahubali, Prabhas announced several Pan-Indian films, including Adipurush, the first mythology-based film in his career.

Adipurush is also one of the costliest films ever made in Indian cinema with a humongous budget of around Rs 400 crores. A special forest set has been erected to shoot some of the crucial scenes.

The specialty of the forest set is that it doesn’t look like an artificial forest, but it looks like a real forest. Given the prevailing Covid situations, the makers have opted to erect a set as it gets difficult to get permission for shoots in the real forest.

Getting inspired by Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Pushpa’ team Adipurush had decided to have a special set. Earlier, the makers of Pushpa have erected a special forest set when they were denied permission to shoot in real forests.

Adipurush is special for many reasons. The High-budget film will be shot using special technology and no Indian film is said to have used the special technology so far. To give a memorable experience for the moviegoers, the makers are said to be using the VFX with real-time technology.

Adipurush is loosely based on Hindu epic Raymanna and Prabhas will be seen in the title role. Tall beauty Kriti Sanon will be seen as Goddess Sita and Sunny Singh is essaying the role of Lakshmana. Saif Ali Khan plays the demon king Ravana.
