Vakeel Saab’ is one of the most-awaited projects in Tollywood. Slated to release on April 9th, the film marks the comeback of Pawan Kalyan onto the silver screen after a brief gap. The makers made sure that Pawan dominated the entire promotions starting from the posters to the songs. While all this stuff made the fans very happy, the neutral audience criticized the team for not projecting the women in this movie which is all about the rights of women.
After a lot of trolling, it looks like the team finally listened to them. They released a poster showcasing Nivetha Thomas, Anjali and ‘Mallesam’ fame Ananya while Pawan is sitting in front of them with a baseball bat. He even holds a book which was ‘Women Law and Criminal Justice’ written on it. Though the poster looks good, many claim that a glimpse presenting the characters of the women would have been better.
As we know, it is on behalf of these three that Pawan argues in the court. Shruti Hassan will be seen as the heroine in this film which is a remake of ‘Pink’. Venu Sriram is the director of this film while Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju bankrolled it. The two songs from Thaman which were released till date got a huge response.
