What happens when a shy and sincere young man is assigned one of the most awkward jobs imaginable in a deeply conservative village? That unusual premise forms the heart of Super Subbu, Netflix’s first Telugu Original Series, set to premiere on July 2.

Created and directed by Mallik Ram and produced by Chilaka Productions, the series stars Sundeep Kishan as Subramanyam Chillukuri Rao, affectionately called Subbu. His life takes an unexpected turn when he is appointed as the sex education officer of the quaint village of Maakipur.

Though inexperienced and naturally reserved, Subbu is determined to carry out his responsibilities with honesty and dedication. However, every lesson he attempts to teach leads to confusion, hilarious misunderstandings, and spirited debates among the villagers.
