The announcement of KHxRK, which brings together two of Indian cinema’s biggest icons, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth, has generated enormous excitement among movie lovers. With the project creating massive buzz, speculation was rife that Shruti Haasan might also be a part of the film.

However, the actress has now put an end to the rumors. Speaking to the media, Shruti clarified that she is not involved in KHxRK. “I recently met both Appa (Kamal Haasan) and Rajinikanth sir, but I’m saying this clearly — I’m not part of KHxRK,” she said.

Despite not featuring in the film, Shruti expressed her excitement about the collaboration. She revealed that working with Rajinikanth in Coolie made her admire the superstar even more. “I’m a huge fan of my father, but after working on Coolie, I became an even bigger fan of Rajini sir because of his personality. KHxRK will be a celebration for the entire film industry, and I’m eagerly waiting to see what Nelson Dilipkumar does with these two legends,” she said.

Calling Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth priceless treasures of Indian cinema, Shruti added, “I met them both recently, and they are amazing. They are a treasure to our industry.”

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander, KHxRK is among the most anticipated projects in Indian cinema, with fans eagerly awaiting the landmark collaboration between Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth.

On the work front, Shruti Haasan was recently seen in a special song in Ram Charan’s Peddi. Although the track created considerable buzz ahead of its release, it received mixed reactions from audiences, with some viewers feeling its placement and lyrics could have been handled better.
