Blast Sparks Story Similarity Buzz Around Trivikram’s Adarsha Kutumbam
Blast, a Tamil film released on May 28 starring Arjun Sarja in the lead role, managed to perform well at the box office and is reportedly a profitable venture relative to its budget.
However, the film is now back in the spotlight for an unexpected reason.
Reports suggest that Trivikram Srinivas’ ongoing project Adarsha Kutumbam, featuring Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead, bears a strong resemblance to the storyline of Blast.
When questioned about the similarity, an industry insider responded humorously, saying, “Both writers might have watched the same foreign CD and got inspired.”
Meanwhile, sources indicate that efforts are being made to ensure the two films are not perceived as identical. It is also being said that several portions of the script are being revised even as the shooting of Adarsha Kutumbam continues.
