Alia Bhatt Rumoured to Join Kalki 2 Amid Buzz on New Cast Changes
Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas and directed by Nag Ashwin, emerged as a massive pan-India blockbuster, blending mythology with science fiction and receiving strong nationwide acclaim for its visual scale and storytelling.
Following the success of the first part, expectations are sky-high for its sequel, Kalki 2, which is currently in active production. However, instead of plot details, recent social media buzz is focused on potential new cast additions.
Latest speculation suggests that Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt may be roped in for a key role in the sequel. Reports claim she could be playing a powerful and pivotal character, possibly even replacing Deepika Padukone’s character arc from the first installment. It is also being rumored that Alia has already completed a portion of her shoot, though there has been no official confirmation from the makers.
