Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi open up about the problems they faced

Love Story marks the coming together of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. Going by the teasers and promos of Love Story, Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi make a great pair. Pair a good on-screen pair with Sekhar Kammula’s trademark sensible writing and narration, and we have a highly exciting prospect. The same is the case with Love Story. However, going by the latest comments of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, it wasn’t always a smooth ride for the two actors while they were shooting for Love Story.

Naga Chaitanya revealed that he faced a few hardships while shooting for Love Story. “If there is one thing I am bad at, it would certainly be dancing. I know that I am not a good dancer. When Sekhar Kammula first approached me with the subject, I liked everything except for the Zumba trainer part. I thought I might not be able to perform well in the role of a professional dancer, given my weakness. I asked Sekhar Kammula to change this particular dance track in the film, but he rejected it. I then had to undergo rehearsals for Zumba dance training. I used to train for hours together to finetune my dancing skills. Moreover, it was tough to dance alongside a talented dancer like Sai Pallavi. But I somehow managed to get through with the dancing part and now, the film is gearing up for release. Love Story is very close to my heart,” he said.

Sai Pallavi said that she had to go through physical exertions while filming two songs in the film. “There is one particular song in the film which had to be shot at night. It was really tough while shooting for the song and I suffered from muscle spasms. Then there is the popular Saranga Dariya. We shot this song during the night and the temperatures were freezing at that point in time. I again suffered from muscle spasms. Shooting these two songs was a challenging experience for me personally. But my character in the film is a special one and I felt I had to give my very best to it and so did I,” she said.
