Over the last few days, Telangana has been receiving heavy downpours. A few regions have reported the highest level of rainfall in recent times.
Due to the steady rainfall, the water bodies across the state were filled reaching the highest water level point.
As a result of the high water level, the authorities at the Gandipet reservoir had lifted the floodgates. It’s the first time since a decade that the floodgates were opened.
To enjoy the scenery there, people are heading to the reservoir. The pictures and videos of the reservoir are going viral on social media.
King Nagarjuna took to Twitter to share an important message to people. He urged everyone to just enjoy the scenery there but not thrash it.
“It’s been 10 years since they opened the floodgates of Gandipet!! Musi River has come alive again. Go feel the rush but please DON’T THRASH IT!!†Nagarjuna tweeted.
Nagarjuna is busy with a project helmed by Praveen Sattaru. Kajal Aggarwal has been roped in for the untitled project. Nagarjuna will also star in Kalyan Krishna’s next project.
