Supremely talented hero Naveen Polishetty might have made his acting debut in 2012 with ‘Life Is Beautiful’ but it is his Youtube videos that brought a lot of recognition. He later became a full-fledged lead actor with ‘Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya’ which became a very good hit. His comic timing and natural acting impressed a lot of people and his positive image worked for his next film too. ‘Jathiratnalu’ which released in March this year turned out to be a huge hit considering its budget and the profits it earned.
Looking at Naveen’s good run and rising image among the audience, a lot of top production houses gave advances to him and booked his dates. Sithara Entertainments is one among them and they reportedly offered him around 4 crores. Apparently, a filmmaker who worked as a co-director for ‘Rang De’ has narrated a script to Naveen and the later even suggested some improvements. But the script did not turn out satisfactory despite multiple efforts which made Naveen to shelve this project and sources say that he returned the advance too.
Nonetheless, Sithara Entertainments are still looking for a good story to convince Naveen as per grapevine. UV Creations too reportedly gave an advance to the ‘Jathiratnalu’ hero and it was supposed to start long back but did not kickstart till date due to reasons unknown.
