Post the death of talented Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, central agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and Enforcement Directorate (ED) are after Bollywood, the biggest film industry in the country. The industry is on the radar since 2020. Earlier, a few Bollywood actors were quizzed by the officials.

A-listers in the industry like Deepika Padukone, Rahul Preet Singh, and Sara Ali Khan faced the NCB question in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput earlier. This incident is said to have inculcated fear in the minds of the celebrities.

Since then the actions and posts of the Bollywood actors were keenly observed by the netizens and any pro- Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) post will attract their attention. Young actress Sara Ali Khan is the latest celebrity to face the heat.

The other day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah celebrated his 57 birthday and the BJP leaders and supporters filled the social media with birthday wishes. B-town actress Sara Ali Khan too wished the Minister. However, the netizens were not happy with this and they trolled her brutally.

People like Samajwadi Party leader Ali Khan Mahmudabad, noted journalist Manisha Pande and others have expressed their doubts on who were making posts from the account and asked if it is an effort to miss the probing.

As a popular opinion, celebrities are having a tough period on social media as they are attacked constantly in the arena irrespective of what they post. Due to this, a few celebrities have stopped using the platforms.

Bollywood is in the news for the wrong reason as Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested in connection with an alleged drugs case and Bollywood actress Ananya Panday appeared in the Mumbai NCB office for two consecutive days for questioning. Her house was raided by the officials earlier this week.

Earlier, the Indian National cricket team members like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, former players Sachin Tendulkar were trolled by the netizens and activists for making posts supporting the government on the farmer protests. The celebrities making similar posts added fuel to the belief that BJP is making the celebrities make the tweets.
