The Sunrisers Hyderabad team management owns a franchise named Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the SA20 league. The team locked horns with the Rajasthan team on Thursday. Kaviya Maran reached the stadium to cheer for her team. In the same match, she received a proposal.

Kaviya Maram comes from one of the biggest business families in Asia. She is the daughter of Kalanithi Maran who is the owner of Sun Network, one of the major channels from the South. Sun Network is seen as one of the largest Media companies in the country.
Her family is also close to politics. Kaviya Maran’s grandfather Murasoli Maran served as the Union Cabinet Minister. The family is a relative of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s family.
