Official: An Action-Packed ‘Chatrapathi’ Arriving On 12th May!

Young and talented hero Bellomkonda Srinivas is known for his action entertainers. The actor has been working on his Hindi debut for the last 2-3 years and the movie is finally hitting the big screens. As we know, he is the hero in the Hindi remake of Rajamouli’s super hit film ‘Chatrapati’. Mass director VV Vinayak will be making his directorial debut in Hindi with this film and it was made on a grand scale. VV Vinayak who launched Srinivas in Telugu with ‘Alludu Seenu’ took the responsibility of introducing him in Hindi too. Pen Studios has bankrolled this project.

The production works have been wrapped up and the makers are currently focusing on the post-production responsibilities. The team of ‘Chatrapathi’ has released a mass poster and announced that the movie will be hitting the big screens on 12th May. Though Bellamkonda Srinivas’ face has not been revealed, he is seen shirtless in this poster. He looks like a beast, flaunting his chiseled physique. He is seen standing in the water with a copper bowl in one hand, and there are injuries on his back. He wears sacred threads around his neck and on his arm. As Telugu movie lovers might know, this is a still from the iconic fight scene between Shivaji and Katraj.

Bellamkonda underwent a tremendous physical transformation to play a power-packed role in this movie. Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios is producing the project, while Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Akshay Jayantilal Gada of Pen Marudhar Cine Entertainment will distribute the movie worldwide. KV Vijayendra Prasad who penned the story for the original is the writer for the remake version as well. Nizar Ali Shafi who worked for several Telugu and Tamil movies cranked the camera, while Bollywood’s upcoming composer Tanishk Bagchi scores the music.

The cast includes Sreenivas Bellamkonda, Sahil Vaid, Amit Nair, Rajendra Gupta, Shivam Patil, Swapnil, Ashish Singh, Mohammad Monajir, Auroshika Dey, Vedika, Jason and others. Let us see if this strong team did just to Rajamouli’s ‘Chatrapathi’ or not.
