Ace filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao was one of the iconic directors in Tollywood. In his long career, he had made over 150 films. Apart from direction, Dasari was also a good actor, screenwriter, and lyric writer.
He had directed generations of Superstars like late Sr NTR, ANR, Rebel Star Krishnam Raju, Superstar Krishna, Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, and others.
One thing that worries the Tollywood audience is that, despite his valuable contribution to cinema, he was not even awarded the Padma award.
Remembering the legendary filmmaker on the occasion of his birth anniversary, Megastar Chiranjeevi came up with a demand that Dasari Narayana Rao should be awarded Padma Award.
