Ranveer Singh Faces FWICE Non-Cooperation Directive Over Don 3 Exit

The controversy surrounding Ranveer Singh and “Don 3” has now taken a serious turn, with the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) officially issuing a Non-Cooperation Directive (NCD) against the actor.
The action reportedly came after filmmaker Farhan Akhtar raised a complaint regarding Ranveer’s sudden exit from the much-awaited third installment of the popular “Don” franchise.
In its official statement, FWICE mentioned that due to the conduct displayed towards the Federation and stakeholders connected to the project, the office bearers decided to issue the directive against Ranveer Singh. At the same time, the Federation clarified that it remains open to meeting the actor to hear his side and work towards an amicable resolution.
Ranveer Singh was earlier announced as the lead actor for “Don 3,” replacing Shah Rukh Khan in the iconic franchise. However, reports suggest that the actor later stepped away from the film just days before it was expected to begin production.
According to the makers, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, the production house suffered an estimated loss of nearly Rs 45 crore due to the extensive pre-production work already completed.
Following the complaint, FWICE reportedly sent multiple notices asking Ranveer to appear before the Federation. In his response, the actor stated that FWICE was not the appropriate forum to resolve the matter, arguing that the dispute was contractual in nature and should instead be addressed through proper legal channels.
Meanwhile, there were reports claiming that Ranveer had offered to return his Rs 10 crore signing amount to Excel Entertainment and even proposed giving a stake in his upcoming project “Pralay” to compensate for the losses. However, sources close to the production house later denied these claims.
