Wedding festivities have officially begun for Anshula Kapoor and her fiancé Rohan Thakkar. The couple kicked off their pre-wedding celebrations on Sunday, June 21, with an intimate gathering attended by close family members and friends.

Several members of the Kapoor family joined the joyous occasion and shared glimpses from the celebrations on social media. Maheep Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor posted pictures from the event on Instagram, with Shanaya writing, “We love you @anshulakapoor @rohanthakkar1511,” while Maheep captioned her post, “Shaadi begins. Jai Mata Di, Anshula and Rohan.”

For the festivities, Anshula looked stunning in a beige and gold embroidered lehenga, which she paired with a vibrant phulkari dupatta. Her ensemble featured intricate zardozi work, crystal embellishments, and a heavily embroidered blouse. Rohan complemented her elegant look in a maroon sherwani with traditional detailing.

Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor also turned heads in their ethnic outfits. Janhvi opted for a pink silk saree paired with an embroidered red blouse and gold jewellery, while Khushi chose a blush pink kurti and gharara set accessorised with emerald jewellery.

The couple had previously celebrated their Gor Dhana ceremony in October last year in the presence of close family and friends. Ahead of the wedding, Anshula also enjoyed a bachelorette getaway in Seoul with her close friends, fondly calling the group the “Seoulsters for life.”

As the wedding festivities unfold, the Kapoor family is making sure every moment is filled with love, laughter and cherished memories.
