Director Buchi Babu Sana and producer Satish Kilaru are leaving no stone unturned to build strong anticipation around their upcoming film Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor.
After the film’s recently released trailer received a mixed response from audiences, the makers have now shifted focus towards an aggressive promotional strategy to regain momentum and strengthen pre-release buzz.
As part of these efforts, the team is planning a grand promotional event in Bhopal on May 23, which is expected to be hosted on a massive 50-acre venue. Industry reports suggest that the event will be staged on a grand scale, reflecting the makers’ confidence in the project and their intent to amplify hype ahead of the film’s release.
Adding more excitement, legendary composer A. R. Rahman is expected to play a key role in the upcoming promotions. A large-scale musical concert is reportedly being planned in Bhopal with world-class stage setup and high-end sound infrastructure.
Interestingly, the sound system being arranged for the event is said to be worth around ₹150 crore, with plans to bring it on a rental basis for nearly ₹1 crore. Such massive arrangements highlight the scale at which the promotions are being executed.
With the trailer receiving mixed reactions, expectations are now heavily placed on A. R. Rahman’s music and background score to elevate the film’s overall impact and generate stronger excitement among audiences in the lead-up to release.
