Director Nelson Dilipkumar appears to be following one clear strategy with Jailer 2 — making the sequel bigger and grander than the first film in every possible way. Following the massive success of Rajinikanth’s Jailer, expectations surrounding the sequel have naturally reached sky-high levels.
While Rajinikanth’s presence alone is enough to generate enormous hype, the makers reportedly plan to elevate the sequel further with multiple surprise elements, including special cameos similar to those seen in the first installment. This approach is expected to strengthen the film’s pan-India appeal even more.
For the past few months, speculation regarding major star cameos in Jailer 2 has been circulating widely. Veteran Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty recently revealed that both he and Shah Rukh Khan were expected to appear in the film, instantly taking fan excitement to another level.
