Shruti Haasan Breaks Silence on KHxRK Rumours
One of the most powerful multi-starrer combinations in Indian cinema history, ‘KHxRK’, featuring Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth, has already created massive excitement among movie lovers. Amid the soaring expectations, recent rumours on social media suggested that star actress Shruti Haasan would also be playing a crucial role in the film. However, the actress has now put an end to all the speculation.
Speaking in a recent interview, Shruti Haasan firmly denied reports of her being part of Nelson Dilipkumar’s much-awaited directorial venture. She clarified that although she had recently met both her father Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth, the meeting had nothing to do with the film.
“There is no truth in the rumours. I am not a part of the project,” Shruti stated, putting a full stop to the ongoing buzz.
Despite not being involved in the film, Shruti revealed that she is eagerly waiting to witness the magic that Nelson Dilipkumar has planned for the ambitious project.
“Like everyone else, I am also excited to see what wonders Nelson sir has created with two legends. I am curious to know what fresh and extraordinary experience he is going to bring to the screen,” she said, expressing confidence in the filmmaker.
Shruti, who shared screen space with Rajinikanth in ‘Coolie’ last year and recently impressed audiences with a special song in ‘Peddi’, also spoke fondly about the Superstar.
“After working with Rajini sir in Coolie, I became an even bigger admirer of him. Watching my father and Rajini sir together on the big screen will truly be a celebration for Indian cinema,” she remarked.
