Is there drug abuse in the film industry is a question that popped up after the sudden demise of talented Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) also stepped in and probed the matter. A few heroines in Bollywood were grilled by the officials. However, nothing is confirmed yet.
When almost everyone forgot about this, Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested after an alleged drug party was busted. Later he was given bail and was granted a clean chit as there was no credible evidence against him in the controversy.
Now the issue is in the news yet again after a popular yoga guru alleged that Bollywood stars take drugs. He took the name of Bollywood Bhaijaan Salman Khan and said he takes drugs.
Celebrated yoga guru Baba Ramdev who co-founded Multinational conglomerate company Patanjali Ayurved with Balkrishna reportedly made shocking revelations that Bollywood stars take drugs. While alleging that Salman Khan takes drugs, Baba Ramdev said only god knows if actresses take drugs or not.
Baba Ramdev recently graced a conference and addressed the gathering where he made these comments. He made these comments in Hindi and the videos are now doing rounds on social media.
Talking about the Khans, Ramdev said Salman Khan takes drugs and he has no idea about Aamir Khan if he takes drugs or not. Coming to King Khan Shah Rukh Khan, Ramdev said his son was arrested and sent to jail.
With Ramdev targeting Bollywood and taking the names of Bollywood stars, the issue raised many eyeballs and the controversy is likely to increase the political heat in the coming days. We have to wait and see what will happen next in the new controversy.
However, Ramdev also shed light on the alleged liquor in politics by citing the liquor distribution in polls. Touching on two points, Ramdev said we all should work hard on the motive to make India drug-free.
“There are drugs all around the film industry, there are drugs in politics too. Liquor is distributed during elections. We should take a resolution that India must be free from every drug addiction. For this we will launch a movement,” Baba Ramdev said in the viral video.
