Pushpa Srivani ignores other party MLAs from Parvathipuram

For former deputy chief minister and current Parvathipuram district YSRCP chief Pushpa Srivani, it’s a role reversal. Till recently, she was the deputy CM, but did not receive any cooperation from any of her colleagues in the district. Now, she is out of the ministry and has been given a party post. She has been adopting a non-cooperative attitude towards newly inducted minister Rajanna Dora.

Not just that. She is said to have adopted a non-cooperative attitude towards the other two MLAs in the constituency. Parvathipuram MLA Alajangi Jogarao and Palakonda MLA V Kalavathi are also said to be at the receiving end of Pushpa Srivani’s ire. Rajanna Dora, the other MLA who represents Salur, is the minister from the district.

Pushpa Srivani recently organised several party programmes in the district. In all these programmes, her supporters have not included the picture of Rajanna Dora and the other MLAs in the posters and banners.Sources say that Pushpa Srivani is paying back Rajanna Dora, Jogarao and Kalavathi in the same coin. These MLAs adopted a no-cooperation attitude towards Pushpa Srivani while she was the minister.

As a result, the YSRCP in Parvathipuram district is a deeply divided house. The district has four MLA seats and all of them are in YSRCP’s kitty. But, the deep differences seem to be playing their part. The party leadership is said to be planning to send senior minister Botsa Satyanarayana to set the house in order.
