North beauty Raashi Khanna might have made her debut with ‘Madras Café’ but she became famous in South India with back-to-back hits. In the last eight years, she delivered many hits and gained a lot of craze for her stunning looks. Raashi looked a bit chubby and cute at the beginning but toned down and became slim. Ever since she reduced her weight, the ‘Hyper’ girl started to appear in way more glamorous roles.
She worked with most of the young heroes in Tollywood and was last seen in Chaitanya’s ‘Thank You’ and Gopichand’s ‘Pakka Commercial’. She did movies like ‘Sardar’, ‘Tuglaq Darbar’, ‘Thiru’ and others in Tamil as well. Apart from that, she played an interesting role in Ajay Devgn’s web series ‘Rudra’ and she played one of the main roles in the recently released ‘Farzi’ featuring Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi too.
Interestingly, her Tamil projects and two Hindi web series turned out to be very successful but Raashi Khanna’s career is not getting the lift she expected. Coming to ‘Farzi’, this crazy web series came out recently on Amazon Prime Video and it was created by Raj & DK who made super hit ‘Family Man’ series too. Raashi Khanna delivered a good performance in this series and did her best in action as well as romantic scenes too. But there is one doubt in the minds of people.
Raj & DK who made ‘Family Man’ brought Samantha as a villain for the second season and she turned out to be a revelation. The North audience loved her performance and she gained a huge image and offers in Hindi too. Did Raashi Khanna get the same kind of recognition with ‘Farzi’? Will her career take a positive turn after this series? It is tough to answer but it is safe to say that Raashi did her part and hope she gets more big offers.
