SS Rajamouli is a name that needs no introduction. Right now, he is the biggest director in the Indian film industry. He is the one filmmaker under whose direction every hero wants to work irrespective of the region they come from. In a career spanning over two decades, the elite director did not deliver a single failure. He constantly betters himself and comes up with a blockbuster every time. His constant craving for perfection has made him what he is today.
Apart from all these, he is known for his humble attitude and down-to-earth nature. He is regarded as a very polite person by the Northern media. But an old video clip of him comparing Prabhas with Hrithik Roshan has landed him in big trouble now. Back in 2007-08, Rajamouli is not a national level director and he is yet to release ‘Magadheera’ which took him to the next level in Tollywood.
Since he has a good rapport with his ‘Baahubali’ hero Prabhas due to their previous super hit ‘Chatrapathi’, he went as one of the guests to the audio launch of ‘Billa’. As we all know, ‘Billa’ is a stylish action flick where Prabhas looked very handsome in suits throughout the movie. Speaking at the event, Rajamouli said, “When Dhoom 2 released two years ago, I wondered why only Bollywood can make such quality films. Don’t we have heroes like Hrithik Roshan? I just saw a song, poster and trailer of Billa, and I can only say one thing. Hrithik Roshan is nothing in front of Prabhas. I’d like to thank Meher Ramesh (director) for taking Telugu cinema to Hollywood level.”
This video clip is now getting circulated all over with English subtitles and fans of Hrithik Roshan are criticizing the ‘RRR’ director for his comments on their hero. This shows that we need to be very careful about what we speak in public as something that you said 15 years back can come and bite us now.
