Superstar Rajnikanth has mesmerized us with his magic and swagger both on and off the screen for the last 45 years. He has crossed his 70s but there is not even an ounce of drop in the style and charisma. Rajni still has it in him to make you go crazy whenever he appears on the big screen.

But there are a lot of discussions going on about his rumoured retirement from the films. As we know, Rajnikanth takes good care of his health and goes through regular check-ups. Whilst shooting for ‘Annatthe’ in Hyderbad, Rajni was admitted to hospital due to a health issue but he recovered from it and completed the shooting. He is undergoing medical care abroad right now.

There was a talk that he may put an end to his film career to participate in Tamil Nadu general elections but it did not happen. But Kollywood circles claim that when Rajni bids farewell to films, his last movie will be under the direction of his daughter Soundarya Rajnikanth. The young filmmaker made her directorial debut with ‘Kochadaiyaan’ in 2014. It is an animated action film made on a big budget but failed at the box office.

While the fans hope that it may not arrive soon, there are some people who say that he may bid farewell in the next few years considering his age.

Jai Hanuman actor and filmmaker Rishab Shetty, who is currently portraying Lord Hanuman in Prashanth Varma’s ambitious project, is also actively working on his next directorial venture.

When asked how he manages multiple responsibilities at once, Rishab explained that he prefers not to overthink ideas. “Whenever a subject captures my attention, I cannot let it go. I don’t have the patience to hold it back,” he said, adding that this instinct keeps him constantly engaged with new stories.

He further shared that, as an actor, he is extremely patient on set and willing to give multiple takes when required. Much like Aamir Khan, Rishab also believes in testing his ideas by sharing them with trusted friends and observers. “If I strongly believe in a story, I narrate it to my friends or people I meet just to gauge their reactions and identify where they lose interest. That helps me refine the script,” he explained.

Rishab revealed that he rarely doubts whether an idea can work. Instead, he pushes himself and his team to believe in its potential. He cited the example of Kantara, noting how within just four months of the idea taking shape, the team developed multiple script versions, wrote dialogues, and moved swiftly into pre-production.

His approach reflects a fast-moving creative process driven by instinct, collaboration, and relentless belief in storytelling.
