The official announcement of NTR and Trivikram Srinivas’ ambitious mythological epic has finally put an end to months of speculation surrounding the director’s next project. The development also brings greater clarity to Allu Arjun’s future lineup, allowing the actor to move ahead with his already busy schedule.

Following the blockbuster success of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Trivikram and Allu Arjun were widely expected to reunite for another film. However, Allu Arjun eventually prioritized Atlee’s pan-Indian action entertainer Raaka, prompting Trivikram to revive his long-discussed mythological script and take it to NTR.

Over the past few months, industry buzz suggested that after reports of an underwhelming response to War 2, Trivikram was considering offering the same “God of War”-based script to Allu Arjun, who enjoys tremendous pan-India popularity following the success of Pushpa 2. There were also rumors that the actor was willing to adjust his schedule to accommodate the prestigious project.

However, according to industry insiders, after multiple rounds of discussions, Trivikram and producers S. Radha Krishna and Naga Vamsi decided to proceed with NTR, considering both creative and practical aspects. The project was officially announced on Monday, putting an end to the speculation.

With Trivikram expected to dedicate the next few years to the mythological epic, Allu Arjun can now focus on his existing commitments. After completing Raaka with Atlee, the actor is expected to move on to an action film with Lokesh Kanagaraj. He is also reportedly set to collaborate with Malayalam filmmaker Basil Joseph, while a much-talked-about project with Sanjay Leela Bhansali continues to remain in development.

The official confirmation of Trivikram’s next film has effectively settled the uncertainty surrounding both the director’s and Allu Arjun’s future plans, giving each of them a clear roadmap for the coming years.
